PUBLIC HOUSING WAITING LIST OPENS

June 01, 2023 - July 14, 2023.

The Georgetown Housing Authority (GHA) Public Housing program will be accepting online applications for 2-, 3-, & 4- bedroom units for eligible low-income families, elderly, & persons with disabilities. 

Online applications can be made at https://www.gtownha.org. Applicants may apply beginning at 8:00 a.m. on 6/01/2023 through 12:00 p.m. on 7/14/2023.  Online applicants must provide household income information, Social Security Numbers, Birth Certificates, & a valid email address.

Language assistance or reasonable accommodation requests can be made via email at receptionist@gtownha.org or by dialing (502) 863-3773, extension 113.

LOBBY ACCESS LIMITED

As a result of government guidance to the COVID-19 outbreak, access to the Housing Authority lobby is limited to two people until further notice.  Please abide by the CDC guidance on social distancing of 6 feet & wearing a mask when entering the office.

WAYS TO PAY YOUR PUBLIC HOUSING RENT:

  • 1.  Lobby Drop-box

  • 2.  Resident Portal
    • Create an account at www.gtownha.org
    • To log on to the Resident Portal navigate to gtownha.housingmanager.com
    • Once your account is established you’ll need to establish a payment method. Once the payment method is established you’ll be taken back to the “Rent & Payments” menu on the Resident Portal. The payment method will be saved. To change the payment method select the “Payment Methods” link at the top of the webpage. Partial payments will not be accepted.
  • 3.  U.S. Postal Mail Service – Your money order or check must be for the full amount due. Partial payments will not be accepted.

REPORTING CHANGES:

Changes will only be accepted through telephone communication, E-Mail, the U.S. Postal Mail Service or FAX.  Please call with any questions or concerns on reporting changes in your household composition, assets, income, or eligible expenses.

EVICTION MORATORIUM ENDING:
The CDC eviction moratorium ends 7/31/2021 with no further extensions.

COMMUNITY ROOM RENTAL:
The Scroggin Park & Washington Street Community Rooms are unavailable for rental or event functions until further notice.
